Bijan (BJ) Koohmaraie is from Clay Center, Nebraska.  He graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a B.S. in Political Science.  During his undergraduate career he traveled through Southeast Asia for a month-long academic trip, was a research intern in Seattle, WA for IEH Laboratories & Consulting Group and interned on Capitol Hill for Congressman Adrian Smith (NE-03).  While interning during his junior year he was hired as Staff Assistant and assumed the same position after receiving his diploma in May, 2011.  He returned to Nebraska last fall to start his law school career at the University of Nebraska College of Law and just completed his first year.  His interests include running, golf, basketball, football, reading, music and politics.
