John Masko

John is a student at Yale University in New Haven, CT, and is a student of music and political philosophy. He comes from the state of Rhode Island, where he founded the state’s first high school nonaffiliated conservative organization. He has done extensive work in conservative activism, hosting speakers in high school, and participating in other activist projects with Young America’s Foundation.  He was honored by Young America’s Foundation in 2010 as one of their top conservative activists of the year.

John’s politics are hardened, honed, and informed, by the adversity of growing up in one of America’s bluest areas. He is an ardent free-market, libertarian-leaning conservative. He is a big fan of liberty and the founding fathers, federalism, and Ronald Reagan. When not thinking about politics, he is probably conducting or composing.
