Sarah Schmidt is a Health Policy intern for the American Action Forum. She graduated from St. Olaf College in 2009 with a BA in Religion and Biology and a minor in Spanish. She is currently pursuing her MPH in Health Policy at the George Washington University. Prior to entering the MPH program in Fall 2011, she worked for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she assisted veterans and their families in obtaining healthcare and compensation benefits for service-connected conditions.
