Stephanie Malaska is a rising senior at Washington and Lee University, where she is working toward a double major in politics and philosophy with a focus in American government. A self-proclaimed nerd and travel junkie, she spent the past year at Worcester College, Oxford University, where she studied politics, played Blues volleyball, explored Europe, and slowly caught onto the English sense of humor. Before coming to AAF, Stephanie interned for two summers at Intellectual Ventures, working on various IP and innovation policy issues in their Public Affairs department. After completing her undergraduate degree, she hopes to do research abroad, attend law school, and return to DC to pursue a career in science or defense policy. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys riding horses, playing volleyball, baking, listening to country music, reading books on military history, and being one of the lone conservatives in her hometown of Seattle.
