My name is Joey McCoy and I am an intern at the American Enterprise Institute for this semester. I am involved in their cultural and social studies program, focusing on, among other things, gender studies. A senior in my last semester at the University of Michigan, I am a pre-med student currently in the interview process for medical school . After graduating in December I am going to live in Delhi, India with extended family as I seek experience in developing not only my knowledge of global health issues but also in discovering a human element to the science of medicine before I begin to study the human body and its ailments.
