Kara is currently interning at the American Action Forum in the Regulations Department. This fall she enters her last semester of undergrad, studying Finance and Economics at The University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh (UWO). Kara is from Iron Mountain, Michigan – a small town in the Upper Peninsula. During the school year she keeps busy as the President of the Economics Student Association, member of the Finance Club, and an Economics Tutor. Kara attended Michigan State University her first year and transferred to UWO the following school year, she still considers herself very much a Spartan. Following graduation this December, she will be attending graduate school next fall to pursue a Master’s Degree in Economics. In her spare time, Kara enjoys the simple things in life such as knitting, reading a good book, and listening to Dave Matthews Band.
