I am currently an intern with the American Action Forum in Washington DC. I am also a senior at Brigham Young University studying Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics. I plan on pursuing a PhD in economics. Prior to working for the American Action Forum, I spent 3 years training teachers and studying effective teaching strategies. I have lived for two years in Southern Africa–South Africa and Namibia–and I speak a little Xhosa (a “clicking” language). I am an avid BYU fan (5 minutes of watching Jimmer Fredette on Youtube should convert anyone) and I grew up in Utah.
