Mitch Boynton is an intern for regulatory policy with the American Action Forum. In this role he tracks the quantitative output of rules by the federal government and analyzes the process by which they are produced.
Currently a Political Science and Economics major at Vanderbilt University, with a focus on American politics, his specific interests include the executive branch and electoral behavior. Originally from Libertyville, Illinois, he spent the past two summers working in the district office of his former local congressman, Rep. Robert Dold (IL-10). This past spring he also served in the office of Mayor Karl Dean of Nashville.
